Michelle Lopez is a  painter based in Colorado, specializing in whimsical art across a variety of mediums, including watercolors, acrylics, and mixed media. A passionate sketch artist, she loves experimenting with pen and ink and is often found doodling new ideas. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Michelle embarked on a freelance career that spans both traditional and digital art.

While living in Colombia, South America, Michelle was introduced to the enchanting world of children's book illustration, an experience that ignited her passion for painting anthropomorphic animals— especially bears and birds. Her artwork often features playful cryptid creatures, otherworldly imagery, and captivating nature scenes.
